First-party integrations, no third-party disclosure of your client or domain data, exporting your data, and what happens on cancellation.
The information Cadence holds is yours. We keep integrations first-party, we do not hand your clients or the things you work on to outside services, and you can take your time data with you whenever you like.
Integrations are first-party and per-user
When you connect a calendar or task tool, that connection is yours alone and is made directly between Cadence and the service. Cadence does not quietly pass the names of your clients, projects, or the websites and domains you visit to any third party. For example, it does not fetch favicons or link previews from outside services, because doing so would disclose what you are working on. Everything Cadence shows is fetched first-party. You can export your data
Your time data is not locked in. You can export your time entries to CSV or XLSX at any time and use them wherever you need (a spreadsheet, an invoice, or another system). Reports and exports covers how.
Signing in
You sign in with an email address and password, and sign-in happens inside the desktop app rather than on this website. Cadence only ever asks for what it needs to identify you and connect the integrations you choose. See signing in for the detail.
What happens when you cancel
If you cancel, your organisation’s data stops being active and is removed in line with our policy, rather than kept indefinitely. The exact terms and timing live in the documents below, so export anything you want to keep before you go. The cancelling guide walks through the steps.
